The tourist stores somewhat look all the same when you walk around the Opera, so I was pleasantly surpised when I stumbled upon TAJ.
Beatrice, the founder, is passionate and welcoming. The store offers various authentic French souvenirs from grocery to decoration and beauty products. I got to sample some of their delicious “pâtés” and syrups. Their products are all sourced from local craftsmen throughout France, unlike most other souvenir stores in the area. Therefore, if you are looking for quality, I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area, whether you are a tourist or a local.
